Adjustable float activated simple switch device; used to monitor liquid level at a desired set point.
Application:
• Level sensor in liquid storage tanks • Activates audible and visual alarm
Features and Details:
• Four sensor length ranges • Fully adjustable within the sensor range length
• Installs into a 2” female threaded opening • ½” NPT fitting at top of sensor
• Normally open switch easily converted to normally closed operation • Compatible with 918S/D/Q Alarm Box and 918AC System Interface or similar listed systems that are designed for use with sensing devices located in a hazardous location.
Materials Of Construction:
• Wires... Teflon® jacketed • Floats... Nitrophyl®-M (924); 316 stainless steel (924S)
• Tube... brass (924); 304 stainless steel (924S) • Bushing... e-coated steel (924); 304 stainless steel (924S).
Approved Use Locations:
UL/ULC Class I, Div 1, Group D (when used in conjunction with the model
918AC, model 918S/D/Q, and model 918SB).
Electrical Switch Ratings:
• 50-watt resistive load, 300VAC - 700mA max / 350VDC - 1.0A max, SPST
*Switch ratings are for resistive loads only. *Do not use for inductive loads.
