The integral RTD sensor is bonded onto a self adhesive aluminum foil strip, which provides for a fast response to changing surface temperatures. The aluminum foil strip is overmolded in silicone rubber to provide a durable but flexible sensor.

This sensor is commonly seen in heat tracing systems on the Rail Yard. We recommend pairing with the Chromalox Digital Heat Trace Controller.
