Quick opening gate valves are manually-operated double disc gate valves designed for use where simple lever action opens or closes the valve. The 238 series has an external spring and will remain closed when not held open. The 438 series has an internal spring and will remain closed unless it is held open.

Rated to 200 PSI WOG cold non-shock, Lever action may be used for throttling product flow.

Construction Details:

• Body and cap: Brass • Discs: Brass • Handle: Ductile Iron • Shaft seal on 1 1/4": Nitrile composite • All other sizes shaft seal: PTFE impregnated fiber packing • Gasket: Nitrile composite or PTFE.
