Description:
The Morrison Fig. 234/235 Series Gate Valves are rising stem double disc style positive shut-off valves. Temperature rating is -50º to 450º F. Cold non-shock pressure rating is 200 P.S.I. W.O.G. Fig. 234/235 series valves are available with optional locking bonets. Fig. 234 series flanged gate valves conform to ANSI B16.42 Specifications for Class 150 raised
face ductile Iron flanges.
NOTE: Fig. 234 series is not equipped with expansion relief capability. If expansion relief is needed, please look at Fig. 534 or Fig. 535.
Features and Details:
Double disc design provides positive shut off when in the closed position, 200 PSI WOG cold non-shock, 150# raised face flanges, Valve can be left partially open to control flow rate. (234BDI) is lockable with a padlock.

Construction Details:
Body and bonnet: Ductile iron, Stem: Brass, Discs and spreader: Brass, Packing and gasket: PTFE, Hand-wheel: Aluminum, powder coated black.
