Description:

Fusible globe/gate valve are used to shut off product flow in the event of fire. WARNING: 939 Series valves require periodic inspection to ensure the shutoff mechanism is operating. Should not be opened under pressure.

Features and Details:

• Fusible element integrated into the hand-wheel melts at 165°F causing the valve to close • Recommended use with fuel oil and kerosene service
• 10 PSI maximum operating pressure ¼″ to ¾″ sizes
• 25 PSI maximum operating pressure 1″ size
• Not intended for use as a block valve, intended as a normally open
valve
• ¼″ is UL/ULC 842 listed as a manually-operated shut-off valve for use with
oil-burning equipment
• ⅜″ and ½″ are UL/ULC 842 listed as fusible link valves for use with
flammable fluids
